Ingø is Alastair Cavanagh's fluid file folder of songs that don't fit into his many other projects. He was one of the creative forces behind the much-more-than-shoegaze band Fourth Way, and now he's focused his sites on turning the Niagara garage-rock outfit Strange Shakes into a jangle-pop band, like the just and necessary horseman of the garage-rock apocalypse that he must be.
I met this guy like a decade ago when he was 15 and way better at guitar than me. I see him as a friend that i'll probably still be calling up to walk me through simple computing functions when I'm 68 years old.
